Read over at Jayski's that Ernie is trying to get Wc ride on track. The driver is mentioned as someone Ernie is mentoring, I assume it is Kevin Conway who runs in ARCA now.

Would not mind seeing Ernie return to NASCAR in some fashion. Reckon he has the $$ and moxie to make a success of it?

A month or so back John Boy & Billy had him on the BIG Show, he was working a deal to not own a team but mentor and find talent and get them into good rides. I don't remember all the details but he had some sponsorship lined up to do it.
 
I, among many, would love to see ernie involved again.

He SURVIVED one of the most horrific wrecks I've ever seen, came back just to say "I'MMMM BACCCCCCKKKK" and prospered. His home burned up, he kept a smile and just said "Fk", we are all ok.

i like Ernie, but i don't know how good he can drive anymore with 1 eye
 
well, close your right eye next time your out driving, then think of doing it at 180+ mph., like i said, i like Ernie, but i just don't know if the injuries hit him too hard.
