ESPN coverage changes

The less I have to hear of Punch the better! Reid isn't a lot better but at least he won't say the same thing OVER and OVER again.

Good god Marty Reid is even worse than Punch. Least Punch knows about cars if I have to hear Marty ask the simplist of questions every single race I am going to throw my speakers out the window. I dont know maybe he has some common sense when it comes to Nascar.

Alan Bestwick would have been the prime choice, but I'll take Reid.

Jerry was just lost as the PxP guy.

I agree. It will be interesting to see if Punch does stick with the pit reporting or opts out. I've heard him on the radio locally and he sounds like he's ready for some more off time to spend with his family.

They still need to get a better director.

Is it just me or does he sound like a different person on the radio? On tv he's always sucking up to Nascar but on the radio(sports animal 99) he seems to actually have his own thoughts about things...lol

But I guess Nascar makes the talking heads say what's good for Nascar.

Dern, I guess Buddy Baker turned ESPN down!!!

I always liked Jerry Punch in the pits. We need to dig into the wayback machine and find Katy Haas.. I miss her.

I tried to get through to Dr. Punch's appearance on the radio today to ask him about the changes at ESPN. I waited until near the end of the segment to see if anyone else would call in about it. I got into line to be on the show, but I called in too late. It didn't help the guy ahead of me talked for over 5 minutes. I'll try again next week if he's on there, not sure if he will be because of the holidays.
