ESPN coverage this weekend

Normally, I'm the first to chew them a new ess whole over crappy coverage, but they had quality coverage this weekend.

Dr. Punch finally showed some enthusiasm, and it seemed like Doc, DJ and Petree were finally being themselves. They covered the racing, instead of just 1 car at a time. It wasn't the best broadcast ever, but it sure was a HUGE improvement over what we've had from ESPN in the past.

Nice job ESPN, keep going in this direction.

I liked having the "back seat drivers" do the N'wide race, and the tech reporting from the pits was superb.

They used a lot of old school technique last night. By far, best weekend for ESPN yet. Maybe they got the message.
