ESPN Destroying Live Game Telecasts

I've said this for years. I watched the Yankees-BoSox telecast yesterday and I was amazed at how the whole broadcast was about ESPN. They couldn't call the game, instead the announcers were talking about themselves all night.

I just muted the TV (since baseball is so one-dimensional you don't need sound to follow it) and turned on some tunes.

:espnsux:

I would probably rather hear the announcers talk about their lives or anything for that matter than to watch the bordem that is baseball....just my humble opinion

This was actually a good game. Yankees gave up a few runs on errors in the outfield, but they made up for it in A-Rod's batting skills.

A-Rod knocks one out of Fenway resulting in 2 RBI and ESPN's talking about their personal lives ... effing pathetic.

ESPN has been about ESPN for close to 10 years if not longer than that. They overhype everything.

Not to mention the way they operate things. They treated Keith Olbermann like crap before he left (I think KO got the last laugh there). They tell their reporters that anything send out on twitter must be authorized by ESPN even though the people are trying to connect with racing fans. (I don't think they could tell Kyle Petty not to Twitter though, LMAO:D)
