that there's something betterabout 40 crew chiefs talking at once instead of hearing the engines fire.

I hate that fan question thing. Like a driver getting ready to race really wants to answer a fans quesiton

Good stuff.

You'd think NASCAR would be throwing the checkers after lap 11.

With the millions of dollars that the teams have tied up in these things, I suppose that they aren't too wild about sending guys out in cars that they don't have a lot of experience in in wet driving.

I may be in the minority, but I'm wondering why they still consider it at all. The one time it did actually rain, they had crawl around the track, and nobody could see a thing when it rained more than a light drizzle. They were wrecking under caution before they finally gave up on it if I recall correctly. Why even bother if that's how it's going to be?

I'm really changing my opinion about Keslowski. At first I thought he was an insuferable brat, but from listening to him lately he really does seem to have a good head on his shoulders. Maybe having that bad practice crash knocked some of the snot out of him! :D

I think it is just insane to race in rain , no matter what the type of car, you are just asking for trouble.

They've done it with Nationwide @ Montreal in recent years and it made for a horrible race IMO. They attempted it in practice many years back in CUP and it only proved how dumb the idea was. They made the right decision by not bringing wet tires for CUP. I'd rather wait a day or two and watch a race rather than glorified caution laps. These cars aren't meant to be run in the rain, period.
