I honestly think he thought he was too big for ESPN to actually punish at this point, but I guess he was wrong.

This clown is the punching bag of ESPN. I believe he has gotten suspended many times from there in the past.

I think it's all just a huge publicity stunt. A lot of the Gooddell stuff, he said in a column/reader mailbag a week or two ago and it was lost in all the noise of everybody else saying the same thing. Daring to get suspended is what got him suspended.
