ESPN2, NOT ESPN Classic

I e-mailed NASCAR over the shafting of the Nextel Cup Awards Ceremony (from NBC taped, TNT live, and ESPN before that) to ESPN2.

I got a reply saying it will air live on ESPN2.

Somebody must've heard from enough pissed off race fans :XXROFL:
 
Geeeze... now my recorder is ALL CONFUSED!! What the heck time does it air? I read that it starts at 7pm and doesn't air until 9pm on ESPN Classic. I was looking through my channel guide earlier in the week and didn't see anything for ESPN2. I was afraid to say anything here about it. :ph34r: I'll have to look again and also reset the timer.... well, unless I tape it after I watch it ...... or... nevermind!! :rolleyes: ;)
 
That must be for central time. Because I just now looked at it and it says it starts at 9:00 on ESPN Classic. ESPN2 has a college football game.
 
I just saw on our local listing that it is live on ESPN Classic and ESPN2 it airs at 12.00am est. So for those of US who don't have classic we have to watch the replay anyway.
 
NOL as of right now says ESPN classic at 9 PM eastern with replay on ESPN2 at midnight eastern
 
Well, I am going to watch it on ESPN Classic at 9:00pm EST. Hope the Maryland vs Ohio State women's basketball game is over by then or I will have to pick up the Awards a little late. :)

Someone was chitting someone if they said it was on ESPN2 at 9:00pm EST.

Maybe its on at 9:00 PT and they forgot to add the Pacific time somewhere. :eek:

MASN is covering some Wisconsion Michigan game or something that's on ESPN. And they said Mid Atlantic Sports Network. And now Comcast doesn't carry MASN2 anymore.

I'm bored, have nothing better to do and there's nothing on all 210 channels.
 
1. I don't have ESPN Classic

2. Nascar.com has been reporting all week it would be on ESPN2. They just didn't say it would be a replay at 12am.
 
Maybe they need to rename it ESPN3 since they're going to put all these races (IRL fans, you know what I'm talking about) and stuff on there.
 
My Comcast has it. Crap, there are as many commercials during the Banquet as they did in races. :(

Burton and Stewart have been ok.
 
I'm with ya, ESPN had to get in thier final shot at us for the year!!!!! Waited up to watch it and believe me the E-mails have been sent to Nascar, and ESPN.
 
I have never watched the awards show, afterall we all know who won.:D It is a snooze fest with corney one liners, maybe it is just me , but i think it is a waste of time.
 
I don't know why you guys waste your time with it. You should have learned long ago there is better things to do with your time.:p
I bet watching paint dry was more exciting than watching it.
 
It was a 3 hour show or whatever, and ESPN STILL managed to screw up the broadcast. They were pointing cameras at people who werent even related to whatever was going on onstage.and they were switching shots constantly and just horribly produced.

SOMEBODY PLEASE GIVE TNT AND FOX SOME MONEY SO THEY CAN BUY OFF ESPN'S CONTRACT!!!!!!!

TNT should team up with CBS. But then again, CBS has NFL.

NASCAR wants to be on broadcast, even if that means nobody watches it. And ESPN's already got their money so what do they care? If they cared what race fans think, they would've got rid of Jerry Punch and Rusty Wallace after Daytona.
 
i managed to watch 15 minutes of the rebroadcast on espn 2 and couldnt take it any more and went to bed. it was absolute tourture to watch. Dont know how many more times they could have shown that idiot brian france's face anymore than they did. Should of just had a camera on his face all night in a small box in the corner of the screen.
