I know this doesnt belong here but thought it'd get more views...

EVERYONE WHO HAS A STATION THAT CARRIES "GEORGE MICHEALS SPORTS MACHINE", WATCH IT THIS SUNDAY!

they're going to have the 2 drivers involved in the worst auto racing crash known in recent history (even worse than the IRL crash at TMS).

been 6 months since it happened at the motorplex

I believe that I've seen this accident. If I'm not mistaken, everyone walks away okay, but you wouldn't believe it from the video.

This could be the worst of the worst, but I've seen some mighty horrible crashes through the years and some of them have involved death. One crash that comes to mind that was so horrible involved a sprinter that became inflamed with the driver still inside. Track workers tried and tried to get to the driver, but just couldn't. They finally did, but most of us felt it was too late. I'm not sure the outcome, but can definately remember the scene.

And still, we have guys who risk their lives each and every week to win that race.

Magnet, I have absolutely no doubt that many will view this and ask "What time, what channel".

Only idiots and fools enjoy race crashes. Nothing more of less!!

Those videos shouldn't be linked to a real fan site.

Oh, I forgot, those crashes are what make racing exciting.

NOT!

And if you want to argue with me, tell me how much sheet time you've done; how many hours you've spent where it hurt beyond belief just to breathe and you still had to get the car back together in order to race next week.

Then tell me again how exciting those crashes are.

I'm all ears.

I like watching crashes like that because it is amazan to watch the ppl get out of the cars and walk around.

boB - i have been in 2 wrecks and at the time they sucked.

While I agree that crashes like that are horrific, many enjoy watching them (NOT THE KAT).

How many tune in to a race just hoping for "The Big One"? (NOT THE KAT)

Let's ask Jerry Nadeau how HE feels about this!

Crashes like this are the reason why, today, people are able to walk away from them.
I agree they aren't pretty to see but they are a part of all types of racing and they are also part of the research that goes into making race vehicles safer.
Look how the HANS device was mandated after the Earnhardt tragedy. Look at the "Earnhardt Bar" that runs down the center of the windshield of stock cars.
It scares the hell out of me when I see a wreck like this one but it also gives me goosebumps and watery eyes when the driver is able to wave to the crowd on his way to the ambulance.

i'm just telling people they're gonna interview the 2 drivers now that they're "mostly healed" (Korestsky is still having chest pains from the belts)

what i read says its about a 5-7 minute thing. And dont ask me what channel time. IT changes from city to city. In dallas, it's NBC5 at 10:30ish i think (after local sports)

was just on here, very good piece. Amazing either driver is up and walking around, let alone tinkering on thier cars already. Then even showed one of the cars....shows how well they are built..couldn't tell the car had hit anything by looking at just the driver's compartment alone (cept the windshield, which was barely there).

(think it was Bruce's car, but hard to tell when they're both pontiacs and use a white base coat and the racewraps have been burned off...)
