Everytime a Hendrick car wins...

Am I the only person who's sick to death of Hendrick Motorports and NBC beating the dead horse over the plane crash 2 years ago. I wanted to throw a brick into the TV when Weber said "2 years ago, a plane carrying ten members of Hendrick Motorsports cras..." (The pause is where I hit the mute button). Junior doesn't sit there everytime he wins and "I couldn't celebrate whenever I won in 2001 because daddy died so this is great."
 
Probably not the popular thing to say, but I kind of agree. Nothing to do with just Hendrick cars. Childress does it when one of his cars win. Kyle keeps bringing up Adam's unfortunately accident.

I feel sorry for them, but let it be. Please. Mourn in private. Don't drag it on forever.

I've thought that for a while but figured I'd be blacklisted on here if a said anything.

You'd think they're the only ones who have lost friends/family and the media plays it to the max.

I have a good friend who lost a young family member a few years ago one Sunday in February.
 
My father died when I was 9. Now, every time the 9 car wins, I paint 3 toe nails and yodel a spanish tune. Some might find this weird.
 
There are some people on other message boards that keep saying the Hendrick organization is the one that keeps cramming this down our throats. But it's obvious it's the media and the overdramatic types like Bill Weber that are doing this.

I disagree. Jimmie Johnson mentions it first thing after every race he wins. Gordon doesn't but Johnson does every time.
