Excessive Celebration

Does anyone else think this rule is a little stupid? I mean why can't a player celebrate scoring a TD or a big play? To me as long as he doesn't pull his thing out and take a leak on the field what's the problem?

i liked seeing the demonstrations by some players after big plays and td's. unfortunately the rules committee see's them as mocking the other team and delaying games. yeah, so what. <g> maybe lousy teams should be mocked. good thing team owners don't go so far as to limit their fans mocking the teams like the once lowly new orleans aints fans with paper bags over their head. stupid rules just take the fun out of sports, any sport. have to act like professionals.
