Kenny Wallace has 1 Bush start and a top 10 finish, why is he 143rd in points? Tina Gordon is 103rd with the same stat.

Has to be a typo,Buck...Have 143 different drivers even competed in Busch this season? I really don't know.

Per bgnracing.com the point standings you are inquiring about read like this:

Pos. Driver Points Starts Wins Top 5 Top 10 Winnings
103 Tina Gordon 134 1 0 0 1 $20,925
143 Kenny Wallace 0 1 0 0 1 $22,425

The only thing(s) different are that Tina has 134 points whereas Kenny has 0, and the difference in winnings $.

OK, but how can he have 0 points with a top 10 finish?

There are two possibilities for Kenny not having any points despite a top ten finish.

A --- his car was not scored for some infraction --- not answering a black flag, for instance.

B--- no points were awarded because then entry blank was not received before the deadline. You can race, but you aren't scored.

Ran at Gateway, finished 9th, but the entry blank was file late, so he didn't get any points.

Just to answer the other question, yes there have been 143 drivers in Busch this year. In fact there have been 144.
