Extortion

Sue whoever has the deepest pockets, nothing new. Thing is they'll settle out of court because they don't want or need the bad publicity but it really boils down to it's cheaper to pay a few mil today then fight the case for years to come.
 
That car was to badly damage to be going 55, it was to damage for 94. That's what I hate about todays society: I did something stupid but it wasn't my fault.
 
Greedy bastards. Dumbass crashed and killed his friend and his wife wants the car manufacturer to give her a pile of money. I hope she chokes on a piece of lobster.
 
i would say she is a POS, but i'm afraid she might sue me next, so i'll just think it out loud.

I'm no expert, but this carnage looks like it was caused by going a lot faster than 55 MPH.

Exactly. My brother-in-law works for the LASD out there where the crash happened. He said there were pieces of the car way down the street.
LASD, Calif. Highway Patrol, Porsche and Michelin were involved in the investigation and all of them agreed that speed and driver error were to blame.
