Whoa, another Grand Prix already! It may appear that there is little to play for in the final three races of the season. However, the battle for second place in the constructors’ championship is particularly tight between Mercedes, Ferrari and Lotus, a good deal of pride needs regaining at Williams and McLaren, and even Seb can still tie Alberto Ascari’s long-standing record of nine consecutive race wins should he clean-sweep the final three events.

The 2013 Abu Dhabi GP in a nutshell:

Track: Yas Marina Circuit
Laps: 55
Corners: 21
Track length: 5.554 km.
DRS Zones: Two with separate detection points - between turns seven and eight and between turns ten and 11.

Webber on the pole. I wonder how he'll lose this one?

Vettel looked pissed after qualifying 2nd to Mark earlier, but he'll have a great shot at winning as always.

Alonso didn't make it out of Q2 for the first time since Valencia last year, when he won after starting 11th. That's where he'll start tomorrow but Ferrari hasn't had much speed recently.

now that Vettel has clinched, they probably won't drop a loose bolt in Webber's tranny.:p

Vettel will most likely fight hard for the win as usual. Damage from curbs might ruin a lot of cars in this one.

That giant Ferrari sign is cool, I don't care who you are.

Hmm, 30 second or whatever win by Vettel, but somes good racing throughout the field. Despite the rhetoric by the stock car crowd about things like KERS and DRS, I think F1 has gotten a lot more competitive in the last 3 years. Problem is all that competition is spots 2-20 and spot 1 is pretty much locked up.

Yeah, good race overall. Especially 5th on back. The last several races have all been pretty fun to watch.

Although racing is good, I don't want to see that racing being for P2 on back. Give me battles for the lead. Vettel's domination has completely turned me off of F1 this year.

Yep. Apparently donuts cost 25k
Well, you know they spent nigh on a billion to get where they had the chance. 25k? To them, it's probably like the price of a donut is for you and me.

Congratulations, Seb. Gotta say that he sounds genuinely excited and happy with each win. Now, can some team PLEASE catch up?

Leigh, David, Steve and Will were great, except for when they missed the fact that they were showing the start of the solar eclipse. Yes that was the moon in front of the sun. I forgot to get up and see if it was still visible here.

Why is the almighty FIA's against donuts? A safety issue? Or just unsportsman-like?
