Seb binned it.

Clipped the inside kerb of turn three and lost what little grip he had. Almost collected Charles in the mess, too.

What about Albon being 1.2 seconds slower than Verstappen?
Expected honestly.

Albon has to work on the qualifying pace. OTOH, Bottas has been doing the same deal for four years. Just some competition to Hamilton would be nice to see.

How do you let Hamilton beat you? How do you let Max beat you?

Hamilton had a dog of a qualifying session and he still destroyed him. Bottas should never again ask for better strategies than Lewis.

Honestly, he isn't F1 worthy. Last time I cheered for him to get pole or wins or whatever. What a let down.

Not bad for a Sochi race but still had a sleepy feel to it IMO. No wheel-to-wheel racing at all among the top three or four will do that I guess.

Red Bull have some decisions to make regarding driver lineups.

Wicked crash in the F2 sprint race earlier between Jack Aitken and Luca Ghiotto. Both drivers walked away okay.

Also, does Russia not have COVID going on? The crowd shots were wish-worthy

So is F1 going to give Hamilton an extra penalty every race in order to keep him from getting the mighty 91st win of his career?

2 penalties for the same infringement is ludicrous.

Haha Bottas just told all you guys off

Race felt in his lap. Not exactly championship material, though if you believe the commentators, Hamilton should be very afraid of Bottas now. lol

Merc ****** up, Bono said Lewis was "OK" to do a practice start at the end of pit lane: (via F1 reddit)

And for good measure he was on for a fastest lap at the end and gets told to back it down to save the engine. lol clowns

They took away the penalty points and fined the team afterwards. Good revision IMO.

Yet they never investigated Leclerc's incident with Stroll.

Stewards have to be more consistent.

Golden child rule.

Remember also when the FIA didn't even bother to start an investigation into Leclerc when he drove like 3 laps without his seatbelt on in the Spanish grand Prix.

Yes Lewis is the superior driver but Bottas is not as bad as a lot of fans make him out to be. He overperformed for Williams and beat his teammate both years, also finished ahead of Vettel in points one year I believe. Is he on the level of Hamilton or Verstappen? Hell no lol but he’s still a solid driver. Don’t see the difference between him and a guy like Mark Webber tbh. Good but not great. Verstappen only has himself to blame because he turned down Mercedes in 2017 lol
