In a very stupid move, FIA has decided to move the Monaco GP up one week. It will now be raced on May 16th. Thus ruining the best Sunday in Motorsports.

The British GP at Donington Park is in doubt as the track owners failed to secure a $224.8 million bond to pay for the costs to upgrade the track to FIA standards. Formula One Management head Bernie Ecclestone gave the track until Noon Monday to secure the funding, or the British GP will be offered again to Silverstone.

Finally, Jean Todt was overwhelmingly elected as president of FIA. He is the hand picked successor of outgoing FIA president Max Mosley. Meet the new Boss: same as the old Boss.

Jenson Button is also rumored to be in talks to move to McLaren and become Lewis Hamilton's teammate for 2010.
