So maybe they'll quit sabotaging Lewis and let him race for the win now?
Sabotage?
Weirder things have happened. Ask Mark Webber about all the weird stuff that happened to him. Lewis will be fine, but if these issues keep popping up, I would definitely raise an eyebrow. Remember, by this time last year Nico had a bizzare throttle issue that forced him to retire.
Hamilton's had two consecutive race weekends with mechanical issues, which isn't anything crazy. The first two races were just having somewhat poor starts and getting hit by Bottas as a result in the second. He'll be fine.
Those were all Mercedes 1-2 results. Maybe Nico was more motivated to finish strong and bring momentum into the offseason, maybe Hamilton wasn't as driven knowing that he already had the title. It wasn't like there were mechanical issues or the pit strategy was questionable.Nico has been getting priority since Hamilton clinched the championships with like 3 races to go. There is something going on.
Hamilton - sabotage
Vettel - bad luck
Funny how that works.
Vettel has had the same number of mechanical issues this year as Lewis has. And unlike Lewis, one actually prevented him from finishing (and even lining up on the grid). This is a stupid post. Vettel isn't conveniently having problems last round of qualifying while his teammate is winning poles and races. Lewis has proven he's the superior driver his whole career so we know it's something going on. Nico isn't a 7 win in a row type driver without some kind of shenanigans being pulled.
