Is Vettel and Ferrari sand bagging? Because they're lacking serious speed in practice.
 
Hard to tell, they may have been working on other set up issues. We will find out in quali.
Always have enjoyed this race.
 
Interesting Q1. Like Monaco, front row really important in this race. Can't wait for Q3.
 
As I was suspecting. Ferrari was playing mind games.

I dont see how either of the Red Bull boys dont get pole. But it will be interesting if they can keep it up there for the full distance.

There you have it. Vettle should finish ahead of Hamilton in the race which
should draw the championship back closer. What a great battle this year.
B U T anything can happen in the race! Verstappen needs a good finish

This type of track just suits Ferrari and Red Bull so much more than Mercedes, somewhat like Monaco. And McLaren too. Mercedes excel at tracks with long straights and big, sweeping corners. That should favor them most of the rest of the season at least.

I give it half the race before Verstappen blows up or has some other kind of failure.
 
I'm going to avoid watching the race until tomorrow night. That way I can turn off the lights and really enjoy the ambiance. Love night racing.

I just love this! What to do, what to do?

You would think these guys have been doing this long
enough to make the right decision on what to start on -
inters or full wets. Guess its a radar risk vs reward decision.

Feel real bad for Alonso as well.

Lot of pressure on Hamilton now. He might want to let Ricciardo go.

Verstappen looks like he got caught out by Kimi's move and he got shook and moved down a little.
 
I thought Vettel's car looked repairable. He only lost a nose.

Took an early shot to the left side pod
that let go a lot of fluids and around she went.

Hamilton is an alien. Putting up fastest laps on old ass inter tires. Time to come in though.
