These long breaks between races are hard to take. Here's what you need to know:

THE 2013 SPANISH GP IN A NUTSHELL

Race start time: 1pm UK time Sunday (2pm local).
Laps: 66.
Track length: 3 miles.

Driver steward: Alan Jones.
Lap record: Kimi Raikkonen - 1:21.670 (Ferrari; 2008).

I hadn't noticed before that this site posts wagering odds on the race. Anybody want to bet a few quid?

I love the British. A sports site belonging to a major TV network takes bets. NBC should take bets on open-wheel races.

I hate the fact it's live at 8 a.m. where I am at, and yet I am still going to have to catch it on the dvr, because of Mothers Day! Ok, I don't hate it, but I will be cooking breakfast when I should be watching the race live!

Is anybody awake to watch some Sunday morning grand prix action? :waver:

This is my favorite type of F1 racing, the field chasing Alonso:cool: Good race so far, can't wait for Monaco.

I like Kimi but nobody is going to catch Alonso unless he wrecks.

Like they said on NBC Sports Net, Alonso win #32, moves into 4th all-time passing Nigel Mansell. Only Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost have more GP wins. Pretty incredible. He'll go down as one of the best ever.
