F1 the movie

Went tonight... no spoilers.... it's OK. Obviously a lot of Hollywood drama added in. Great nice shots of the cars racing. They really did try to make the plot fairly believable but any racing enthusiast will quickly see through it. It's unfortunate because if it weren't for a few key things it'd be a great movie for people into racing. At the same time it's a bit much for someone without any knowledge of racing.

The opening scene is the 24 Hours of Daytona at night. Freaking AWESOME scene. Really captures endurance racing.

Thanks for the review. I don't plan on seeing it. As a fan of F1, I see the drama and real racing every 2 weeks or sometimes every week so I have no reason to go and see a scripted movie of it.

I'm going to try to be open minded about it. We should be able to stream it soon, so we'll know then.

Absolutely great trailer! :)

If you’re a fan of speed, drama, and adrenaline, F1 The Movie is definitely worth a watch. The film does an incredible job of pulling you into the high-stakes world of Formula 1 racing. From the roar of the engines to the tension in the pit stops, it captures the essence of what makes F1 so electrifying. The character dynamics are surprisingly gripping too—there’s passion, rivalry, and even moments of humor to balance out the intensity. Sure, there are a couple of clichés here and there, but honestly, it works for this kind of high-octane storytelling. Plus, the cinematography is stunning—those close-up shots of the cars flying around the track had me gripping my seat.

Just watched it today and enjoyed it. Brad did a great job.
