The start was very clean and Wirdhiem has kept the lead from the pole in the Arden International car and has pulled out a 1.3 second lead over Sperifeco.

With 24 laps to go, Wirdhiem still leads Sperifeco by just under a second. Paffet is taken in turn one by Boumgarterner and fights back for the next several corners until Boum. finally gets pace and pulls away.
Americans sit in 5th (Townsend Bell) and 17th (Derek Hill). Townsend bell as you know ran CART last year and basically was dropped because of his rough driving. Be back later to give rest of the results.

Ive been watching the first 2 races myself, like I have done for many years, this year there is more talent than usual if u ask me. Just a shame to see that theres only 18 cars on the grid, the series lowest ever number. 
Still hopefully things will change when the series changes back to "Formula 2" which should happen when the FIA World council commences in June.
