At today’s race we sat in Section 493 Row 65. It’s the top row under the structure that holds the boxes. Chose those tix because they are in the shade, which was a good move today. We used my scanner and brother used a rental. Both of us got good reception, but the volume both units put out was not good enough. We missed most of the broadcast. I was wondering if the decibel level is higher in that section because it’s semi-enclosed.

I'm sure you're aware of this, but I'll ask the question just for the sake of accuracy. Did the headsets have separate volume controls?

Was that a typo and supposed to be Section 403? That's where I sat and the volume on my rented scanner was more than sufficient. I had it set at about 3/4 volume and didn't miss anything. What was your seat numbers?
