Yeah, it seems like the only way they can get Jr on the tv, cause he dam sure ain't runnin up front, and the neeeed to have him in our faces.

If I understand the rules correctly, you text the car number of the "fastest" pit crew. Except that you can vote for anyone, not just pit crews that were the "fastest" in the current race. Which basically means that it's just a popularity contest with a company logo attached to it.
Therefore, it makes sense that Dale Jr would be in the lead as NASCAR's most popular driver. Kind of ironic considering how his crew performed last week.

That makes more sense. Guess I never pay attention, just see "fastest pit crew" and assumed....

I agree. It's really just a popularity contest like American Idol.
If any pit crew has been consistantly performing well I'd say it would be for #83 Brian Vickers team.

I can name twelve pit crews that have done a great job every week all season. Just look at the chase contenders. I was really surprised to see the 24 team hickup last week. Those guys are normally a head above the rest.

And if so,how did the other teams feel being beaten by a girl at the wheel.

them bein so fast would explain why Jr keeps missin his pit stall...... he's in a hurry to get in there before they finish workin on it.....lol
That is sad though, if they are gonna have an award, poll, or whatever it is, why let the fans vote for it??? I mean, geeze, wouldnt a stopwatch work better??? or for a few teams, a sundial??
