Fastest Qualifying Times

So today when Logano got the pole... they said he ran the 9th fastest qualifying lap in NASCAR history. I'm wondering if anyone can find the other speeds? I've looked around but can't find it. I really only want to know so I know how many drivers are ahead of Joey for fastest laps all time lol. I know it's 8 records but it could be only 2 or 3 drivers. Anyone know where I can find that out?
 
Bill Elliot is first. I can assure you of that.

The rest I have no idea.
 
Y'all don't remember last year after the repave where drivers were going so fast that tires were blowing out and they had to bring in a different type of tire?

Marcos Ambrose got the pole that year, but Joey beat that time.
 
Now I'm confused. I thought Marcos broke the all-time qualifying record last year. Logano broke his speed, but there are 8 faster all-time qualifying times?

In the history of NASCAR.. not just at Michigan.. Joey posted the 9th fastest pole qualifying time in the history of NASCAR... Im just wondering who has the other 8 fastest times.. I know Bill Elliot but it could be Bill Elliot at 5 tracks u know? Im wondering how many drivers are in front of him... cant find it anywhere.
 
I tried looking but came up empty.

Even Jayski doesn't have that specific record stat.
 
I'm sure alot of them happened before the restrictor plate was put in. Wasnt speeds at daytona and Dega' routunely over 205Mph?

I honestly dont remember alot of spesds over 200 Mph in the 90s

I forgot about Allison, I remember that crash. Shark is right too, it probably took several incidents to start developing the plate.

I think it was 87. Believe it or not I was sitting right in front of the Allison crash. As a spectator I could not believe how quick it happened.
