I couldn't agree more. The guy is a lazy scum bag who hasn't done a damn thing positive since he got his huge free agent pay day. It sounds like she should have had the sense to not tell him that it was ok to put the card there and he should have had the sense not to ask in the first place. It just sounds like the little head was doing the thinking as is often the case.
