Favorite Christmas Movie

Seems like everyone is getting in the mood.....er for Christmas that is!:p Just wondering, what is your favorite Christmas movie? Lots to choose from. Mine is Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase. Now there's a name! Just can't imagine it any different....Ford Chase just doesn't have the same ring to it!:rolleyes:
 
The original Christmas Carol starring Alistair Sim. It"s in black and white and has that oppresive, dark feeling to it. It's a great movie to watch with a cup of hot tea and a plate of cookies.
 
Yeah, I like A Christmas Story, but for my very best favorite, it has to be White Christmas. I have to watch that at least once every year.

I just watched A Christmas Story last night. I rented it and then realized it was on TNT when I was done watching the tape. So I watched the end again. My kids had never seen it and they thought it was great. We are getting ready to watch Jack Frost with Michael Keaton after Mrs. 4x gets done making some more peanut buter fudge. I've never seen it yet, but I am lookin' forward to it.
 
I like the Christmas Carol. About any version. Pertty fond of a western version with Jack Palace as Scrooge.
 
Gollum, I forgot about that one. Another all-time favorite Christmas movie was Scrooged with Bill Murray. That was a funny movie. Man, another one I have to rent soon.

There are so many I like, I'm sure I left something off. Jack Frost was OK, but I don't think a Christmas movie is supposed to be so sad it brings my wife to tears.
 
I have to go with A Christmas Carol --- the one with Alistair Sim. A later version with George C. Scott is not too bad, either.

A Christmas Story just cracks me up.

The animated --- How The Grinch Stole Christmas is the greatest.
