Favorite Christmas Song

What Child Is This, First Noel, and Oh Holy Night.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year and the music is tops. It's hard to pick just one because there are so many and the different musicians make it even more to choose from. However, I'd have to say that my favorite is Silent Night by Chip Davis and Mannheim Steamroller. What a wonderful rendition of that old classic. Every time I hear it, it brings a tear to my eyes.

Any Christmas music by Chip Davis and the Manheim Steamroller becomes a rendition of an old classic........Manheim Steamroller makes any song a classic.:)

That Silver Bells song done by Steve Martin. That ones pretty funny.

DE, do you know that Chip Davis and company used to be C.W. McCall who did Convoy? That's a big 10-4. :)

No I didn't know that, buck. I first heard of Manheim Steamroller when I started watching NYPD back in the mid nineties and they did the theme for the series. Then I started looking for their music and found out they did the Christmas music that I'd hear occassionally and never knew who it was........great orchastra.:)

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen...preferably Phil Keaggy's version. It is awesome.
