I started to put this in the NASCAR section but then I got to thinking there's a bunch of racing movies out there from Indy Cars to Motocross, Why exclude them?

Any How, I have Tons of time on my hands right now Dr. RICHARD won't release me to go take a squat  so I figured I'd get yall to chime in and recomend some of Your Favorite racing Movies! Anything go's post your favorite and some details that you think makes it worth watching!

I need some entertainment before I go wackoer!

Just finished watching "Stroker Ace" hahahhaha Great Movie laughed my junk off! What could be wrong with a movie that has Burt Reynolds, Loni Anderson, Jim Neighbors, Ned Beaty, Jerry Reed and I had forgotten all the cameo appearences by racecar drivers!
Neil Bonnet, Dale Earnhardt,Richard Petty, Benny Parsons, Ricky Rooster Rudd, Tim Richmond, Terry Labonte, Cale Yarborough I saw Chris Economaki and Linda Vaughn too!!! I don't know his name but that big ass black guy was Funny as hell...whats his name he's been in other movies too?

Yes the racing was pretty LAME but this movies a Comedy not a Documentary.....I Wish someone would Paint up a Pink Plucked Chicken car for real :D

Okay Thats it! Hit me with your Best Stuff!!!

Kenny Rogers' Six Pack. Corny as hell, but a fun watch with some great looking dirt cars.

No surprises here I have to go with Days of Thunder. It was just a great movie from start to finish and had some damn good looking racecars in it. Sure it had some flaws like Cole talking on the radio without moving his mouth and they couldn't decide what green car he spun out but the story line was good. Also had a lot of great quotes but most of them I won't post here:D

Don't forget him slamming into the wall about 67 times at Daytona but never loosing speed while be battled Wheeler. :D

The first time I saw, I thought it was pretty good. But then got to thinking, what an overblown piece of crap that movie was. It was basically "Top Gun" on the race track. On Top Gun was the other overblown, seriously overrated Tom Cruise movie.

Jee, I'm so sorry I didn't like it, sorry for not asking your approval first before saying so. Now, since you feel that way, I expect you not to say anything bad about anything you don't like either.

I need to watch some of these movies. The only NASCAR-themed movie I've seen is Talladega Nights. Then again I don't watch many movies.

I've also seen the Senna documentary on ESPN.

I've never seen Talladega Nights. I absolutely refuse to watch it. NASCAR will fine drivers for saying negative things about NASCAR but they endorse and let them use licensing for that???

I'm surprised F1 didnt sue their asses over the stereotypicl gay driver and other comments about F1.

Did'nt get to watch any movies yesterday, snuck out went the shop then the races with the boys :D

Dink has now grounded me so on the movie list for today is 6-Pack and 3 The Story of Dale Earnhardt. I ordered Winning and Grandprix off Amazon there a couple oldies but very good.
I could'nt watch Talledega Nights just from seeing the previews I cam tell it'd just piss me off!

Winning with Paul Newman
Grand Prix with James Garner
Two Lane Blacktop, the best ever.
Days of Blunder just plain irritated me. Explain to me how someone can bounce off a car and a wall and not lose a position at Daytona.

The magic of movie cinema. lol

That movie had a ton of mistakes. One minute the cars would be black with dirt and all beat up and the next they would be clean and pristine.

Yea and trying to teach somebody how the draft works with sugar packets is what got me.

Its a freakin movie not a documentary, you ever hear of entertainment. Ever try to drive a Mustang like Steve McQueen did in Bullit, well I did , jumped a 3 foot high railroad track and ruined a hot 1969 Mustang 289 engine by crushing the oil pan and oil pump and by the time I got stopped it was fried. Its the only time in my life my dad called me a name, he said I know you are not a dumbass so quit acting like one, I paid for it my self. But it was fun as hell.

Yea try flipping a Mercedes end over end with 4 of our buddies in the car and everyone walking away? We were all very well lubricated at that point in time.

My apologies if you took it that way it was not intended. I was talking about Days of Blunder doing stupid.

Grand Prix - they recorded the actual sounds of the cars for each track. Days of Thunder pissed me off when I first watched but I realized I had seen every example of driving in real races - just not in 90 minutes.

I've used that method on several dates....they may not care about NASCAR when I'm done but they see the "big one" the draft can cause;)

I have to admit I laughed my ass off when I read that ;)

Spent the weekend back in the hospital again so I had some time to watch a few movies.

Wining for about the 20th time Great Movie!

Grand Prix was Really good!

Funny Car Summer never saw it before but it was really good. Lottsa 70's funny car action and some tech stuff I'm still thinking about.

Heart Like a Wheel, interesting movie some shots of oldie slingshot diggers, Awesome! Story line has been done to many times.

Tried once again to watch Talladegga Nights....can't do it thats Not a RACING movie at all.

Senna I'd like to see but have'nt found it.

Days of Thunder....well Hollyweird had to much input and it became Entertainment instead of a racing movie. Still a Great movie....NONE of MY Dr's look anything like Dr. Kulwicki in the movie DoT

Thanks everyone for your input keep em coming!

You getting these from Netflix??? If you are try Driving Force. It's a series where they followed around John Force. It only lasted I think 2 seasons.I know season 1 is on dvd.
