Hey guys, i was just wondering what your favorite track was to see a race at. Ive been to many including the 500, the bricyard and the bristol night race but i think Talladega is by far my fav to watch a race at. anybody disagree?

First, welcome to racing-forums. :) Pull up a chair, kick off the shoes, and visit a spell.

My favorite track? Has to be Texas. LOL
But, I also love Bristol, Dover, M'ville, Darlington, and Atlanta.

Oh I think you will find a few here who will disagree with your choice of Talladega for a favorite!! :) There are even a few who claim to refuse to even watch those two races a year!! :D But I like Dega a lot........but, then I like close racing even if some say it's contrived with the use of restrictor plates. But, I guess my favorite track to go to is California..........and that's simple to explain!! California is the only track close enough that I can get to. I live in Southern California about 60 miles from the track.

I like almost every track the Cup runs on. An order of favorites would be hard to come up with but I can give a general idea of tracks by listing my favorite types in order: Short tracks, big tracks (2 mile plus), mile and halvers (cookie cutters), the milers (older tracks) and last would be the road courses. But there ain't even one on the circuit that I would refuse to watch!!! :D

Welcome to the board my24flames,hope that U like it,great group of People here. :beerbang: :)

My fave track is Infineon Raceway, takes the most skill IMHO. :)

I'd rather watch any road course, short track or 1-1.366 mile track event any day compared to flat or plate race events.

Welcome to Racing-Forums!

As for my favorite track, I don't really have a comparison. I am a season ticket holder to Texas, but that's the only track that I have been to. I would LOVE to visit Bristol, Atlanta, Talladega, Daytona, Martinsville (not in any particular order) and a few others.

Welcome to our little site. my choice is any track a mile and under down to a TRUE 1/2 mile. Those 1/2 mile tracks that seem to be measured around the parking lot are too small for a good race. But a 3/4 or 1 mile is good racing and not so fast that the restrictor plates or the stardardized shape matters.

Hey guys, I have season tickets to Kansas Speedway, its a great track, but I also like Bristol, Marinsville, Darlington, Daytona, and Talladega.

Bristol or Charlotte, but that's judging them from TV....for the tracks I have been to, I like Richmond the best.

Of the short tracks, Richmond is way up there for me!! :) :beerbang:

Dega. Doesn't hurt that I can hear the cars there from my house either...:D

My favorite are Bristol, Richmond, Darlington, Martinsville, AMS, Watkins Glen and Infineon.

richmond is by far the best track. there is great short track racing there with everything you could want.

I'd have to say Charlotte Motor Speedway (yeah, I said it!! LOL Lowes doesn't exsist to me!!) :)

But, I've seen my share of races at Dover. Not a bad seat in the place.

so it's a toss up between them I guess.

I've been to Pocono also. but, well, it's pretty large, and flat... and if ya don't get a good seat, HIGH UP, your pretty much SOL until the cars scream down the longest straight in the series.
