Very tragic what happened, I dont like the Packers however my prayers and thoughts go out to Brett and his family.

I wonder how this will motivate his play. Irv was a character & loved football.

Maybe that's his way of dealing with his loss. Sometimes work is the best medicine.

At halftime he has thrown for over 300 yards and has only thrown a few incomplete passes. And the Packers are leading 31-7 at halftime! Yeah, I'm guessing he is glad he chose to play. ;)

I really don't think anyone loves the game as much as Farve, I love watching him play. This one is for his dad.

hell of a game for Brett tonite.

Great game for Favre and the Packers! NW will be pleased for the cheeseheads!

Brett Favre had one hell of a performance, they just killed the Raiders out there. Very emotional victory for him.

Brett always plays better when there is some motivation involved. This was probably the most motivated he has ever been in his career.

He was giddy during the Super Bowl against the Patriots, but this was the first time I've ever seen him ready to cry on the sideline because he was so happy & sad at the same time.

I've never seen Brett get so emotionally involved with the team as he did. He always celebrated with the guys, but there was a picture in the paper today of him & Wesley Walls after the 1st touchdown. We all saw Brett jump into the arms of Wesley, but this picture showed Brett's eyes while he was in Wesley's arms, and he was crying. And the team stepped up their play with Brett. Some of the catches made by the receivers wouldn't have been made under diffferent circumstances IMO.

When I posted yesterday that I thought Brett would be motivated by this game, I knew this is how he would be motivated. Of course, I didn't realize he would have his best game of his NFL career though.

I was at the game against the Eagles when Reggie White seperated Brett's shoulder & I was also at the game when Brett dove in the end zone against the Falcons to get the Packers into the playoffs for the first time in over ten years & back then I knew Brett was the real deal. But last night, my personal opinion is that there was never ever a better QB to play the game than Brett.
