Fedewa out as driver for FitzBradshaw No. 12 car
Marlin to take over, Eggleston now serving as crew chief
Team Release
MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- FitzBradshaw Racing announced Monday that Sterling Marlin will assume driving responsibilities for the Cottman Transmission Dodge Charger with Scott Eggleston serving as crew chief, beginning this weekend at Gateway International Raceway.
Marlin, who has raced part-time this season for FitzBradshaw in its No. 40 Dodge, has made 13 starts with two top-five and four top-10 finishes. That car, which is running a full season, is 26th in owner points and Marlin has all its best finishes.

"After four years running the No. 12 car, we need to find the right combination to run competitively," team co-owner Armando Fitz said. "The Supercuts/HOT TAMALES Dodge has not had a top-10 finish all year. We can't sit idle. We've got to do something."
Marlin will replace driver Tim Fedewa, who has been behind the wheel of the No. 12 Dodge for just over two years. He has 21 starts this season and is 21st in Busch Series driver points.
"I've been in the NASCAR Busch Series for a long time," Fedewa said. "I've learned over the years that change is part of this business. I am proud to be associated with this series and to have had the opportunity to represent sponsors like Supercuts, HOT TAMALES and Goulds Pumps."
FitzBradshaw director of competition Eggleston will serve as Marlin's crew chief.
"This team has made a lot of progress over the past few weeks," Eggleston said. "Hopefully the changes that are being made will advance the team's efforts. We will continue to work hard and improve."
