I'm waiting for new fog lenses for my truck.

What's wrong here? Wouldn't it have been cheaper and easier to just sent it to me, instead of harboring it for a day and a half in Charlotte?

I ordered a HID kit from hong kong on friday, same as the lenses and plugs (which came yesterday), it arrived today via DHL....

Yea, but monday was the 25th.......it could have gone on the plane on the 25th instead of 26th...

Unless fedex is like every other modern company, open saturday, closed sunday and monday...

Ah, but if it was a ground shipment, it would take a while to get to Ft. Worth from Charlotte. Probably left Monday morning.

Looks like somebody didn't scan it as being departed Charlotte. So not really sure when it left there.

I always thought everything flew that kind of distance. I know anything I order via UPS, even when it's ground, it flies if it's a long distance.

nope, forget if it's both ups and/or fedex but i've had several ground shipments from ca. i consider that a pretty good distance from illinois.

I purchased an item off ebay Saturday and paid immediately. Item was just delivered a few minutes ago by USPS. GO BUCK!:beerbang:

Item came from Arizona $9.14. shipping. Lately I've found USPS delivers faster and cheaper than either UPS or FedEx.

Now if buying something that's being shipped through the Canadian mail that's a whole different story.

I know all our jegs stuff via fedex flies from ohio to DFW, it all arrives in the AM with dad's overnight work stuff.

No kidding. i had some stuff come in from chandler arizona, not even 24 hours from there to here. UPS probably would have taken 4 days.

Packages sent to a business take priority. If ordered before noon I would get items out of a Calif warehouse sent here overnight where they were delivered the next day to our local warehouse, usually before noon.

I was surprised to see it as the dates given to me for delivery were Aug 1-3. My item must have hit at just the right time to make the right connections I guess. I'm not complaining at all.:D

If I order from Summit Racing before 8am during the week, I get my item UPS'd to my porch the next evening or the day after. Summit Racing rocks :beerbang:

Fedex, UPS and USPS are all in the same business and are competing against each other for business. I can only speak to the USPS part of this, but the mail at present still works a normal day on Saturday whereas Fedex doesn't and UPS has special prices for Saturday delivery. Business' that do mail order will, unless otherwise specified, ship the cheapest it can find and many of the bigger business' have contracts with one or the other. Even if you specify overnight delivery, you may only have one choice.
