Feel good story of the week

I have a nephew who is in the childrens hospital in Birmingham, he is 13 y/o and he is a very sick kid. He has had surgery after surgery since he was born and he has been in the hospital for a couple of months with more surgeries on the way. Last Saturday his step father had left the hospital and gone to Wal-Mart or somewhere and there was a Elliott Sadler #38 M & M show car. His step father talked to the guy with the car for a little while and asked him he he would bring the car to the hospital so my nephew could see it. The guy said he would see what he could do, and they exchanged phone numbers. About 6:00 on Saturday afternoon the phone rang and it was the man with the show car, he was on his way to the hospital. They met in the parking lot and he gave my nephew a personal tour of the car and the trailer. My nephew was able to sit inside of the car and everything. He also gave his some shirts, caps, and an autographed picture of Elliott Sadler.

I do know one thing, he gave his time to this sick little boy and really made his day. My nephew is a die-hard Jeff Gordon fan but now he is also a die-hard Elliott Sadler fan. That man gave my nephew a great gift for a otherwise dismal life right now.

Guido or anybody else that may know this man give him a big thank-you from me and my family.

Guido is on his way to California with the Kenny Wallace Showcar, but I have heard some very touching stories from his travels too! Have you seen the commercial where Kenny gets a ticket and he says he was chasing a flying saucer? Well, that was shot in the Show Car and Guido was there too!
