Suprised I haven't seen this posted yet:

Ferrari will change the name of its flaming-red race car from F150 to Ferrari F150th Italia. That's an important change since Ford had sued over trademark infringement based on how the name was so similar to its F-150 pickup, the nation's best-selling vehicle, the Detroit Free Press says.

Ford had a good reason to sue the 2 F-150 logos looked just alike. Windtunnel showed them side by side last night.

Personally, I think it's silly as hell. Seriously, similar logos or not....can someone really find something to be confused between an F150 and a F1 race car?

Ford likes to sue people and companies. There used to be a speed shop here in Arlington named "Ford Racing", Ford came in and put them out of business. Also Ford cracked down on car Clubs selling calenders with pictures of members cars telling us that Ford still owns our cars even tho we paid for them. Thank goodness there was some lawyers in these clubs and threaten to end up owning Ford if they continued.
