If Bama had a QB, they would have won by 14, at least. TN couldn't run on us and their TD's came from a fumble returned after a botched handoff and after a long punt return. Honestly, Bama did a lot better than what I figured they would.
But if Pennington just had some accuracy, I think the results would have been different.
That seems to be the opinion down home here too. Pretty optimistic even with a loss that the Tide is about to turn a corner. Maybe Shula can keep his job awhile anyhow so long as improvement is shown.
Bama's defense is awesome and their running back, Darby is averaging about 100 yards a game. (197 yards last week) And before Hudson got hurt, he was also averaging 100 yards. The QB situation there just really sucks right now.
Its still a young team, most are sophs with a few Jr's. and Sr's. A year or two and things will be fine there.
