Sounds like NASCAR has managed to piss everyone off unanimously.

Anyways, does anyone know if SPEED is going to televise the USAC races Thursday Night since they're televising the ARCA race?

I've never seen a USAC race @ IRP televised on SPEED. I don't expect this one to be aired live - if at all. Hope I'm wrong, though.

Too bad because the midgets put on a great show there. Gonna be a helluva tripleheader.

Damn I miss Thursday Night Thunder from the 80's. I searched everthing I could think of online and haven't found anything :(

So do I.

nascage, the one year I managed to get to IRP, the USAC races were the best. Kenny Irwin was racing, Tony Stewart showed up, also.

Fantastic night at the track.

Fantastic night at the track.

I met USAC sprint car driver Robbie Stanley at Manzanita Speedway back in the day, and he said he couldn't stand Tony Stewart, especially after Tony and him got together in a crash at IRP. Stanley slid the length of the backstretch upside down after making contact.

I think he would've eventually made it to Cup. May he rest in peace.

Heading out to the track now. I hope it isnt just another race dominated by ty... This track is really greedy. $9 ticket ordering fee for 2 $40 tickets. They charge for parking. Annoying...

ARCA race is live, no USAC though :( Reality TV gets priority at SPEED:rolleyes:

Does SpeedTV even have a contract with USAC? At one point they televised some of the races but that was about 10 years or so ago. I don't know that USAC has a television partner @ all these days. You may want to check this link @ race time to see if they still broadcast them. It may be a subscription service now though, I don't know.

When the checkered flag drops on Saturday Night's Kroger 200, there will only be one good track left in NASCAR (Martinsville) thanks to Brian France, the man who single handedly destroyed stock car racing in America.

There are still lots of really great tracks in nascar. Just gotta look beyond the top 3 series. K&n pro series east and west, canadian tire series. They have some really great racing(much better than the ty dillon series). I kind of gave up on the top 3 series a while ago. Trucks were pretty good for a while but they have gone way downhill these days...
