Allstar Showdown are Irwindale starts tonight with qualifying, late model feature, and last chance race to get into the big show on saturday. Sounds like the whos who of the east/west and a few truck regulars will be running.

So far ive heard Logano and Hornaday.

Rain. *sigh*
Just like last year.

Mind you, December-March is rain season in SoCal so moving the race to January ws a bad idea in the first place. Just as bad as the early-May Richmond date (which I will always be a critic of).

Brian never should've messed with things this much. He should've kept this race in Nashville (see: All American 400) and kept the 2nd race of the season in Rockingham.

Not the tracks' fault... NASCAR has given Auto Club Speedway some ****ty dates and they did the same with the All Star Showdown.

They still run the All American 400 i believe

ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour (not to be confused with ASA Late Model Series...) and CRA Super Series race the All-American 400.

The ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour race was a wreckfest. Every time they restarted someone would crash... boring as hell... no racing.

It would be more exciting if NASCAR ran it again. I would much rater see a Nationwide or Truck Series event at Music City Motorplex than Nashville Superspeedway.

Ok...I'm ready

Got the popcorn and cokes all ready for this afternoon! Supposed to have the complete trials and all the races on the TV today! Just like an old-time race.
Betsy;)

They said last night that they wont be on till 10 est and it would start with a 75 lap late model race and then run the full camping world race and then show the taped 150 late model race afterwards. Is the qualifying gonna be on another channel? I dont think they could start early on speed because the rolex 24 hour race at daytona starts today and it goes from 330 to 9 for part 1. Never thought i would say this in winter but to many races in one weekend lol

Don't forget the Geoff Bodine Bobsled Challenge! Todd Bodine has the time to beat now, with Sliced Bread on the course now! :D

Dale would be proud

Of this boy LAGONO! He pulled a #3 in the 4th turn on the final lap and WON the race.
Had he been wearing the famous #3 they would have allowed him to keep the trophy... But sadly, he got penalized for rough driving.
That race was old time racing. I really enjoyed the whole race. I'd give it better than a 9!
Betsy;)
