Finally we got a truck race

Question about what people wear on their head during the National Anthem.What about 36 drivers sitting in their trucks with helmets on during the National Anthem?

Tracks dry now.Don't know about tomorrow.I do know the 3 truck just hit the wall on lap 10.
 
Man, just couldn't stay up for that one. But I just woke up to the news Brian Vickers is to miss the rest of the season. The whole season!? That sucks.
 
never saw a fire like that inside the cab. looked like raymer lit a barbeque grill and he was the meat. glad he got out of that ok.

I know this is apples and oranges, but when I was on base, if you were in a vehicle and heard the National Anthem or Colors, you stopped your vehicle and remained "seated at attention". You didn't have a cover (hat) on unless you were under arms.
 
When I was in and stateside you stopped your vehicle, got out, faced the direction of the flag and offered a hand salute with your cover on.

Overseas, we kilt a commie.:beerbang:
 
I used to salute the speaker that played the anthem. Never could quite figure out why they called it "retreat".
