Here's an article from Nascar.com about fines for the Truck Series. Still haven't seen any fines for Cup yet.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- NASCAR officials announced Tuesday that NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series crew chiefs John D. Monsam and Raymond L. Newman have been fined for infractions during the March 23 Lucas Oil 250 by Glidden at Mesa Marin Raceway.
Monsam, crew chief of the No. 50 Ford, was fined $1,500 for actions detrimental to stock car racing (Section 12-4-A of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rule Book) and parts and/or equipment used in the event that do not conform to NASCAR rules: unapproved front spring (Section 12-4-Q).
In addition, Monsam was suspended from the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for the next two events and from NASCAR until May 21.
"We have two new crew chiefs on our truck teams and the changes have greatly improved the chemistry and performance of both teams," team owner Jack Roush said.
"However, we have a zero tolerance policy regarding rules compliance, and accordingly agree that NASCAR's penalty to John is fair under the circumstances."
Roush said he has not decided who will lead Wood's team at the two races Monsam must sit out.
"We do not expect John ever to repeat that type of decision again," Roush said. "He is a good man and crew chief and I hope that everyone on the team can learn from this mistake so we can move ahead and focus on winning races."
Two other trucks at Mesa Marin had unapproved springs discovered in post qualifying inspection, and their times were disallowed. They had to use provisionals to make the field of 36 trucks.
Newman, crew chief of the No. 20 Chevrolet, was fined $250 for actions detrimental to stock car racing (Section 12-4-A of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rule Book) and parts and/or equipment that do not conform to NASCAR rules: unapproved jacking bolts (Section 12-4-Q).
