Dang. Fire broke out near my last High School. http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2016/06/04/brush-fires-reported-in-calabasas-west-hills/
Car struck a power pole.
Ironically, I can see the house that I was in for the crazy 1994 Northridge earthquake. The same house, I was on the roof in 1993 with a hose for the massive Malibu fire when a water tanker came over and doused me, followed by an aircraft dropping Phos-Chek. I looked like a radish when I came down off the roof.

I saw a Dodgers game on TV the other night and they kept showing the sky off the the one side and Vin Scully commented that what you were seeing in the sky was the effects of the fires. It looked horrifying.

This was actually a "smaller" fire for this area and for our drought conditions. Hats off to the incredible efforts of the firefighters that responded to this fire.
