This idea is stolen from TMD on SIRIUS/XM 128 just to promote some misc. discussion.

1. What driver will win the Nationwide Championship in 2011?

2. Who needs to win a race more in 2011, Jeff Gordon or Dale Earnhardt Jr.?

3. Where do you get your NASCAR news from?


1. I'm going to go out on a limb and select Elliott Sadler driving for KHI. He was doing decent in good equipment last year.

2. Jr. needs to win more than Gordon. Not for just himself and his crew chief, but for the sport as a whole. What you don't think so? Take a look at what his Nationwide Series win last year did for the gate the next night at Daytona. They had reported a much larger than normal walk in.

3. This has changed tremendously since I started following the sport. I've come to find that the best source of news these days for me is twitter. Not tweets from the average Joe. I'm talking about the people that report on the sport.

1. Not sure yet..Elliot does have a good shot tho.

2. Jr NEEDS to win a race BAD...I think his fans are starting to give up on him.

Since Kyle, Brad or Carl can't win the championship you gotta look at Elliot Sadler as the favorite. He's gonna be in a great fully funded ride and it might be his year.

Jeff Gordon has already accomplished pretty much everything he can so JR needs to win more. I mean he hasn't won a points race since what 08?

It's usually either here or Jayski.

1. Don't know and don't really care until they fix that series(if they ever do).
2. Again really don't care, I guess it would be nice to see both of them get a win, but until both are serious contenders for the Championship at the last race, doesn't matter to me.
3. I get my news from a lot of different sources.....here, Jayski,Thatsracin.com, local tracks, and talking to actual guys at the local level that have inside info. Granted the latter isn't too often, but on occasion I get some interesting tidbits.

1 Elliot has experience and will be in good equipment, he has a good shot at the title.

2 Jr really needs to win more than one race this season.
