Jayski says that this is confirmed by PE as the 2004 paint scheme for the #43 Cheerios Dodge. The reason why I said it might surprise you is bc GM has not officaly singed on for the 2004 season yet but this kinda makes you belive that they will be back! Jayski also has them listed as extending the contract to 2004.( which I figured anyways, same for GP)
At least there is somethign to get out of the way so PE can consentrate on the team and not lookign for a sponsor! Now all they need to do is find a driver for the 43 and a new motor program!

I forgot to say how I liked it!

I DON"T :AHHHH:
It does kinda flash back to Richards last STP years with the straight lines but it needs to be lower down on the car to look half way decent!

They should try and get that Dodge in the background throught tech and see what that can do....lol

Well My friend I like it i think its really cool lookin but yes we need a Motor program (Maybe Penske or Ganassi) and a full time driver :dual9mm:

Hopefully Petty Enterprises can get back up to speed, thats a good looking car that needs a good driver.

Yeah I saw that car...I like it better than the one now for sure!

Paint schemes should be the last thing PE should be worrying about! Engines and drivers should be first!

what link did you go to

Seeing that yellow next to the Petty-orange makes me kinda lament the fact that cheerios is their sponsor...(even though I love Cheerios!)

Personally, I'd put a bowl of Cheerios on the hood with ceral spilling all the way to the back (like if you actually put a bowl of ceral on the hood of a racecar!)

Ok this is the first public 2004 paint scheme!

Why don't you share the pics with us!!! Would be cool to see more!

Watch Bristol Saturday night or Cup Qualifying tomorrow and watch Jamie McMurray 2004 Paint scheme go around the track

That scheme looks a ton better than the current one. Now let's get a good driver to go with it.

MRM what are you trying to say that Jamie McMurray is a bad driver? I am good friends with couple guys on the crew (no names to be announce). He is a decent driver, give him some time to win a race

wlfyk62, I didn't know that Jamie McMurray drove for Petty Enterprises. I believe that MRM's comment was directed at the fact that Christian Fittipaldi hasn't done real well in the #43 car. (you know the only one that is pictured in this thread)

And, BTW, most folks here really would like to have statements substantiated by something other than stuff like this
I am good friends with couple guys on the crew (no names to be announce).

Sorry, I don't mean to hurt your feelings, but most folks like to make sure that it "walks the walk" and not just "talks the talk". If you don't understand what I'm saying, then........never mind.

I was talking about Jamie McMurray Paint Scheme. Christian Fittpaldi is a good driver also if someone give him good equipment

I realize that you were talking about Jamie McMurray's car, but the only picture that was posted was that of the #43.

I am sorry but I like Jamies current car! I know that the Texaco is a huge part of NASCAR history the past 10-15 years. But I like the Yellow and silver better than the Texaco star.

I am one of those that would like to know more info. To me it sounds like you read jayski and then say you know people on the teams and that the rummors are true. Now you might know people on the teams, but I doubt it

if you know who Matt Chamber is, I am long-time friend with him also Morgan Shepherd so I know all of my information
