Denny Hamlin's Championship Run

Red Bull Leaving NASCAR

NASCAR Nationwide Series Leaves Lucas Oil Raceway Park

Dull Debut For Kentucky

Jeff Burton's Miserable Season

Mine.....

1) As an Earnhardt Jr. fan, his continued lack of trips to victory lane. This season had a great start and looked very promising but the last four weeks or so are starting to look all to familuar.

2) I have to agree with the NASCAR Nationwide Series Leaving Lucas Oil Raceway Park. Another great venue gone to the past. A place where most, if not all, of us would have like to have seen the Cup drivers race @.

3) Dull Debut For Kentucky. UNDERSTATEMENT. They better get their crap together @ this venue. Normally @ a Bruton venue they have everything in order. Him blaming everyone under the sun doesn't help his case any. The guy needs to look in the mirror on this one. It may not be long before that race moves to Vegas for the finale, which is what he wants anyway.

4) Red Bull Leaving NASCAR was/is a huge hit and message for NASCAR.

5) And my last is one that seems to be shaping up once again for the grande finale of the 2011 season..... Yet another one of these made up playoff championship trophies heading back to Charlotte, NC to the Hendrick Motorsports Jimmie and Chad facility.

Add Tony Stewart's season to that as well. Could have won the Daytona 500, but had a terrible restart and was no factor on the last lap. Could have won Vegas, but their stragedy backfired. Could have won Sonoma, but pissed off the wrong driver and wound up sitting on a pile of tires.

Could've won last week as well but didn't. He could already be locked into the chase by now.

1. The two car draft at restrictor plate tracks
2. Nationwide races still being dominated by cup drivers that cant collect points.
3. Kentucky, heard alot of speculation about how great it was gonna be but it was a disaster.
4. Miserable season for Brian Vickers. A couple years ago he made the chase and looked like he was gonna be a serious contender. He was unhealthy last year but I expected him to return to riding up front after a handfull of races.
5. And Joey Lagano. They called him slice bread built up to be as big as Kyle Busch but he just isnt producing in Cup.
