I think they were wasting time to get to the Texas Ranger game on time. They flew over like 8 times. It was great.I could watch them all day long.

We have them around here all the time...mostly chinooks and some passenger traffic low enough to read call letters on, but the occasional fighter jets too

I could read the call letters a couple times. They buzzed the house about 8 times. If we didn't have those dang electrical towers behind us I bet they would have been lower.I could watch that kind of stuff all day long.:beerbang::beerbang:

the air national guard flys all the time around here

When I was at Grand Forks AFB, the bombers, tankers, cargo and fighter jets were in and out all the time. Wonder what that was all about. :p

I ♥ jet noise:)

After seeing it for 20 years, and now working for the Army about 20 miles away from Langley AFB, I don't get to see them flying around as much. Miss em

I think it's like living close to a railroad. One can get so used to the noise that one doesn't notice it. I know we used to get ticked when SAC had a practice "red alert" and scrambled all the B2's and tankers. You couldn't here what was on the TV. But I always loved the sound of jet aircraft, whether it is military or private. As a matter of fact, I even love the sound of propeller driven aircraft.
