The hearing was held Tuesday and the charge of animal cruelty was upgraded to animal torture. That's a felony here. He just got out of "the can" in March for drug charges and is was on probation. Well, his probation was revoked so he's back in "the can". Marine recruiter said he was just talking to them, no paperwork was done but they don't want him now.
His public defender grilled my daughter hard but she slammed him. He questioned her being in her 5th year at Tufts in the Vet program but has only attended 3 years. She told them she tested out but looking back she could have gone to law school and become a hack lawyer. "no more questions your honor".
Trial moved to superior court and will start in a week or two. Guy is facing some serious time now.
