Veteran Grand National series car owner Frank Cicci announced Friday that NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly has signed a partnership with Cicci's new team, which is expected to debut next season.
Kelly will help the team search for sponsorship. Cicci has been a team owner in the series for the past 17 seasons and holds a series record of 702 starts.

"We have brought Jim Kelly in as a partner to offer his services to a sponsor and help promote their product," Cicci said. "The sponsors are out there. Our team is a marketing team."

The team recently purchased a 10,000 square-foot shop in the Mooresville, N.C., area formerly used by the team of late Blaise Alexander. No driver has been named for the team.

Wonder if Terry will sell hin #12? I read somewhere Kelly wanted it :D

Hey, we got Mike Cofer who is a former NFL punter running Kurt and Kyle Busch's old #04 car here at our bullring. Not tearing the track up the way the Buschie Boys did, but holding his own none the less. I expect to see him in tonights Winston West thing.

And speaking of Kyle, he finished 12th in Thursday's ARCA race. He's coming folks and when he turns 18 the big kids best be paying attention:D
