For fans that think FOX Sports has a man crush on Kyle Busch...

"Through nine races, the Joyce Julius marketing firm had tallied a whopping 1,727 mentions of Busch's name on FOX's Sprint Cup Series telecasts."

Anyone know the Joyce Julius employment hotline? I'm an avid NASCAR viewer, and I can count, as well.
 
This was brought up on The Daly Planet a few weeks back to which I responded that I'd like to see the mentions by network to see if there are any differences. It's obvious Fox slants toward Busch, Dale Jr., and Gordon. TNT seems to slant toward Johnson and Stewart. There's no doubt ESPN favors Edwards and Johnson.

I sure do miss NBC (Bestwick, BP and Wally) and CBS.

I like ESPN's coverage but from what I see on twitter, I'm the only person who likes Marty Reid.

Marty Reid pumps up every move on the track as if something really exciting is happened. It feels SO fake and over the top sometimes. I understand that he is excited, but too much is too much. "Kevin Harvick just passed Jenifer Joe Cobb for 42nd and is heading to his first win of the season!"

I'd rather have an exciting Marty Reid than a monotone, unintrerested Jerry Punch.

You want to hear obnoxious, listen to Adam Alexander announce anything. He's the lead guy for TNT in a few weeks. :)
 
Speed is the worst. When KB is in those truck races that's all the talk about even when he isn't leading.
