I am a dog lover!!! But I don't have a dog, thats just a picture I found on the net.
That dog is close to my grandma's dog but her's is smaller. Its a minature malamute, we think. It looks just like that but more gray and is half the size. The vets don't know what she is exaclty. She was a stray puppie a few years ago and she qucikly became my grandpa's best freind he named her Lucky because she was lucky to find a nice family. Now that he is gone, Lucky is all of our best freind.

I'm a big dog lover too..........we have 3 dogs and well we love cats too, we have 3 cats............we just love all animals...........

Lucky may be a cross between an Alaskan Husky and an Alaskan Malamute.
Huskys are much smaller than malamutes. My Malamute (Dale) looked just like this but weighed 110 lbs.

That more than likely is what she is. Lucky is just above knee high to me and I am 5'10"

OK, here is an Alaskan Husky!
Huskies don't curl their tail over their back like Malamutes.
Lucky looks like a cross because she holds her tail high but not curled, is smaller than a Malamute, but she is a beautiful lady!

and another Malamute...Huskys look more like a lean wolf or a German Shepherd.

I met Susan Butcher on a trip to Alaska one year. She's run the Iditorod several times.
She loved to tell how it takes 2 seconds to teach a dog to "go", but 2 years to teach them to "whoa"! LOL
Seeing those pics reminds me of her sled dogs.
