Have you seen any of the recent The Other Ones shows?
 
Yes, I went to Alpine Valley! They were great! You definately need to check them out if you haven't already. If you visit Leilani Munter's site, she has links to Ratdog and also the hot sauces that Bob Weir makes. I have tried them and they are really good, plus they raise money for the Further Foundation. Maybe she will have a Grateful Dead racecar someday...
 
I saw TOO in 2000 and they were HOT! Then saw them again in '02 and it wasn't very good...Bob seemed to be just going through the motions. Bob was always my fav, all his raw emotion and unabashed gusto on stage...was kind of let down.

A friend of mine went to Hartford and said they tore it up! I am actually downloading the Alpine Valley shows right now. :):) Can't wait to hear them, I've heard nothing but great stuff about this new tour.

I'm going to see Derek Trucks tomorrow night in Boston, not sure if you know who he is or not...
 
Derek is a very good guitarist...he's Butch Truck' nephew (drummer for the Allman Brothers thoughtout the 70's).

It was a pretty good show.
