Many of you know that I am about as die hard of a sports fan as there is. Basketball is my favorite sport, but football and baseball are about tied for second. I also love MMA and several others as well. I used to be a pretty die hard NASCAR fan as well, but they alienated me a few years ago, but this isn't the time or place for that.

I've been through some really heart breaking stuff in my almost 50 years on this planet. The Drive, The Fumble, Jose Freaking Mesa in 1997, the Indians having the best team on the planet in 1995 and still losing, losing the Browns in 1995, what we got in their place ever since, Michael Jordan standing in the way of the best Cavs teams in the franchise's history before Lebron got there, etc.

Winning this title doesn't make up for that. It can't, but it sure is sweet none the less! I can't describe the feeling as I watched that game with my son and the final buzzer sounded and I realized that we won the game by 4 points. I raised my fists in the air triumphantly, but I kept waiting for the announcers to say that there had been a mistake and they were bringing the players back out on the floor for some reason and they had to play another 30 seconds or so because Cleveland just isn't supposed to win anything.
