Perhaps this will make it easier for all you women to understand this miracle that is MAN :)

Oh, and for the record, I'm number 10 :p

Murphy's Laws About Men:

1. The nice men are ugly.

2. The handsome men are not nice.

3. The handsome and nice men are gay.

4. The handsome, nice and heterosexual men are married.

5. The men who are not so handsome, but are nice men, have no money.

6. The men who are not so handsome but are nice men with money think we are only after their money.

7. The handsome men without money are after our money.

8. The handsome men, who are not so nice and somewhat heterosexual, don't think we are beautiful enough.

9. The men who think we are beautiful, that are heterosexual, somewhat nice and have money, are cowards.

10.The men who are somewhat handsome, somewhat nice nd have some money and thank God are heterosexual, are shy and NEVER MAKE THE FIRST MOVE!!!!

11. The men who never make the first move, automatically lose interest in us when we take the nitiative.

Men are like a fine wine. They all start out like rapes, and it's a woman's job to stomp on them and eep them in the dark until they mature into something you'd like to have dinner with.
:p

Great list, Mlite!

A sad, but true list.

Is it any wonder lesbianism has become so popular? :p

I thought it was the high quality movies that made it so popular ;)

Only guys watch those movies, Mlite.

Besides, some people will do anything because it's trendy.

Anything? :) Maybe in your neck 'o' woods, the only place here in Mt that it has become popular is up Missoula way. Let me tell you though, these are the pretty, make-up covered, women that you see on film, these are the no shaving, no showering, sandal wearing, full blown butch lesibians you see in parades. I lived there for a year, and they scared me, plain and simple. Completely ruined the whole fantasy for me ;)

In my neck 'o' woods, we have both varieties.

I don't have fantasies about either one. :D

I suppose the opportunity has come up....especially in the industry you work in and the area....hey, I seen the movie Rock Star :D That's pretty realistic huh?

Nah, it's not just where I work. NYC is loaded up with homosexuals. - NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT! :D

I never used to think anything of it but, having witnessed the experience of a first-time visitor to NY -- a guy from rural Ohio who was living in rural NY state -- I guess I just don't notice these things as much, nor care about them a whole lot.

You've been here, right? What was your impression?

Nice place to visit, but you couldn't pay me enough to live there. The people weren't anything like what I expected. (I had some preconceptions, I figured I would be walking around getting crap like the good ol boys in the Cowboy Way) All in all I wouldn't mind going back again. I would like to visit ground zero, though it has to be overwhelming, alot like seeing the Vietnam memorial. (haven't been there yet either, but want too)

So, I gather your impression wasn't that we're a bunch of freaks and weirdos who walk too fast and talk too fast and who you can't trust? (That was my friend's impression.) Glad to hear it! :D

Believe it or not, I haven't really been to Ground Zero, but I have been to the Vietnam memorial in D.C. That was pretty overwhelming. Ground Zero...I don't know. I guess I was too scared to go, in the beginning. The emotion was too great, too recent, that I feared my reaction. I've been in the vicinity since then, but it doesn't bother me too much anymore. I'm very skilled at blocking things out. When I'm in downtown Manhattan these days, I can finally look in that direction and not picture the destruction, and the bodies. But I remember how my dad used to work there, my own memories there, and I get very sad.

Sorry, I've really changed the subject.

No worries there. I forget how hard it must be for people who live there. You just have to deal with it your own way. Well, I'd love to stay and chat with some more, but I have a 4 hour drive starting at 6 in the morning and it looks like it is going to be icy, so I'm gonna hit the hay. Boo, always a pleasure...catch ya on Wednesday. Sweet dreams :)
